Pivot is known for making great enduro Bikes and the Pivot Trail 429 is no exception it is cheaper than the Firebird and the Phoenix but the Quality in Frame and components that Pivot use is clear across all models. Pivot trail 429 is a Mid Range trail bike which i would recommend for someone who is upgrading from a hardtail and is an Intermediate rider. It is well equipped for climbing yet has enough suspension for steep technical downhill action.
